After she played the main role in Friends, her popularity soared. In recognition of her performance, she received many nominations and awards. The show, which became an instant hit, was aired on television for 10 years. For her most recent role she was a key supporting role as a supporting character in Mothers and Daughters. Awards are among them those of the TV Guide Award, which she won for her work in Friends. Another award is that of the Golden Derby Award that she was awarded for her role in Cougar Town.
