Robyn Rihanna Fenty, also known as Rihanna is a Barbadian musician and singer who has given us songs like Pon de Replay SOS Umbrella and Take a Bow. Being a young and accomplished singer and songwriter, she's already one of the top selling performers. Born in Barbados her family listened to reggae and started singing while she was young. As a result of the chaos that surrounded her family and the fights her parents had with each other, she decided to take up music. She soon decided that she was going to become an artist. When she was a teenager, she joined a musical band. Evan Rodgers auditioned her and was extremely impressed. In order to make money as a professional musician she was asked to move into New York. Rihanna became a huge hit when her debut album hit the marketplace. The songs that were aplenty of foot tapping quickly became the top choice of young people, causing her to get into film too.
