LeBron Raymone James Sr. Born 30 December 1984 is a professionally-trained American basketball player. He is known as King James he is widely thought to be one of the best basketball players ever and has often been compared with Michael Jordan in debates over the best basketball player of all time. James is the winner of the distinction of winning four NBA titles. He has four NBA MVPs. Four NBA Finals MVPs. Three All-Star MVPs. And two Olympic golds. James has the highest points in the playoffs and has the second highest number of career points and is the seventh player with the most career assists. James has 18 NBA All-Stars, 18 All NBA Teams and Five NBA All-Defensive First Team selections. James was the third player to compete in NBA Finals. Eight of those were consecutive from the year 2011 until the year 2018. In 2021, James was chosen to join the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022 became the first player of NBA history to rack up at least 10,000 career points in rebounds and assists. James played basketball at St. Vincent St. Mary High School, which is located in his home town of Akron Ohio and was heavily advertised by national media as a future NBA superstar. In 2003, it was the time that Cleveland Cavaliers took him first in the NBA draft as a pro-to-prep. In 2004, he received the title of NBA Rookie. He soon became one of league's top players, and won the NBA MVP title in both 2009 & 2010. James, who did not take home the title in Cleveland in 2010, left as a free agent and joined his team the Miami Heat. This was made clear as part of The Decision. It is one of the most controversial decisions taken by a sports free-agent in history.
