Christopher Peter Meloni was an American actor best well-known for his part in the well-known television series Law & Order Special Victims Unit'. Since his college days Meloni became interested in acting. After that, he attended The University of Colorado at Boulder. He has appeared in both films and television, but the small screen characters that brought him fame and an enormous following. The ability of his characters to appear on both sides of law is what has caught the attention of viewers. The first show he worked on was a television show, and later, he played an officer for the NYPD. He has been nominated multiple times for the highly coveted Emmy Awards and the PRISM Awards for his small screen performance. The piercingly blue eyes of his face have been deemed to be his most attractive feature. The eyes have been employed to portray rough characters as well as give them a sense of humour. People's magazine listed him as one of the Sexiest Men Alive for 2006.
